Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

What is Bayer® Back & Body used for?

Bayer Back & Body combines the trusted strength of Bayer Aspirin with a pain relief enhancer to soothe aching back and body muscles and relieve tough pain. Use Bayer Back & Body for the temporary relief of

  • backache pain
  • muscle aches and pains
  • minor aches and pains of arthritis

Is Bayer® Back & Body enteric coated?

No. Enteric coating is a delayed release coating which means that it will take longer for the aspirin to dissolve and be absorbed. For this reason, products with enteric coating are not recommended for quick pain relief. Bayer Back & Body caplets are coated to make the caplet easier to swallow for those who have difficulty in swallowing uncoated tablets and caplets.

Ingredients

What are the active ingredients in Bayer® Back & Body?

Bayer Back & Body caplets contain 2 active ingredients: aspirin 500 mg non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which is a pain reliever, and caffeine 32.5 mg, which is a pain reliever aid/booster.

Why is there caffeine in Bayer® Back & Body?

No, the product is the same Bayer Back & Body product you’re accustomed to, now in a new box. The purple on the package is not an indication of a formula change.
